Hypnosis for women

A powerful pathway to release subconscious barriers that are holding you back from living life to the fullest.

What’s Preventing You From Living Your Best Life?

Most likely, you’ve reached a point in your life where you are sick and tired of holding onto behaviors and attitudes that prevent you from living your life to the fullest. No matter how hard you’ve willed yourself to change, the transformation simply isn’t happening.

Stop beating yourself up and understand why this is happening to you!

You are not weak or lacking willpower to make the desired changes in your life. Emotional blocks stored deep in your subconscious will not allow the changes to take place in your conscious mind…no matter how hard you try.

Hypnosis Blasts Through Subconscious Blocks

The good news is that hypnosis can help you identify at the subconscious level what blocks you from successfully achieving what you desire. In a trance state, I will help you to reprocess and reprogram your thoughts and behaviors and achieve the positive results you’ve longed for.

What Sets the Pathway Process™ of Hypnosis Apart From Others?

Traditional hypnosis uses direct positive suggestions that place a Band-Aid over the issues. Overtime, those toxic thoughts and behaviors resurface causing you to go back to square one. The Pathway Process of hypnosis, on the other hand, gets to the root cause of destructive behaviors, thoughts, fears and trauma. This insight enables positive change to occur at the subconscious level.

Success Stories

"I was at a point in my life that I really needed to make a career change. I knew what I wanted to do but couldn’t fathom that I could actually do it. I reached out to Melinda at Path Seekers Life Coaching & Hypnosis and it has made all the difference. I was an employed physician in a practice that didn’t value or nurture me and I had come to really dislike my job. However, after being trained for years to just follow the leader and take orders, I had no self confidence in my abilities to make may own decisions, start my own business and leave the security of my dead end job. Learning about my inner critic helped me tame my self-doubt and through hypnotherapy I uncovered many of the subconscious blocks that were holding me back. I found the strength to leave my job after 11 years and believe in my own inner entrepreneur. I will be opening up my own medical/wellness practice next month. Thanks Melinda for helping me find my way!"

Questions You May Have About Hypnosis

What is hypnosis?

Hypnosis is a state of focused attention resulting in an increased ability to accept suggestions. It’s a naturally occurring state of mind we cycle in and out of while awake. Everyone has already experienced hypnosis thousands of times whether they are aware of it or not. Normal, everyday hypnosis occurs when you are driving down the road and lose track of time, or when you are focusing on a book or television program and you don’t even notice something that is going on around you.

Is hypnosis safe?

Yes. Hypnosis is safe and you will be in control the whole time. Hypnosis has been approved by the British Medical Association in 1955 and the American Medical Association in 1958. The American Psychological Association approved hypnosis as a science in 1960. In actuality, hypnosis has been safely and effectively used by medical and psychological professionals for over 200 years.

What Does It Feel Like To Be Hypnotized?

Within a matter of minutes, the cares and concerns of the day leave you. Tense muscles relax and other positive physiological changes take place. Some clients report feeling “light and floaty,” while others says they feel like they’re “melting into the chair.” Others say they have no concept of their body whatsoever. Everybody’s experience is unique. It’s been said that being in hypnosis for even a few moments creates the feeling of having slept for hours. Yet, when you are in a hypnotic state, you are focused and your subconscious mind is very receptive to positive suggestions. You hear everything that is being said, and you respond to questions if they are asked. You are always in control of your responses and behaviors. Your ability to enter a hypnotic state increases with each session—and with the practice of self-hypnosis.

will I be asleep?

When you are in hypnosis you are not asleep. You will be very much aware of all that is going on. In actuality, in hypnosis, one’s senses become heightened and more acute. Of course, if you are tired, it is possible to fall asleep during hypnosis. However, a simple suggestion to wake up would be given by me to rouse you.

Will I Tell Any Secrets Under Hypnosis?

Hypnosis is not a truth serum. You retain full control over what you say. Hypnosis cannot make you reveal your deepest darkest secrets. As your hypnocoach, I cannot make you talk about how you feel about something, unless you choose to.

I’m Worried About Being Out of Control. Can You Make Me Do Something Embarrassing?

As your hypnocoach, I cannot make you do anything you don’t want to, even if it’s good for you. Forget what you’ve seen in the movies and on TV, you are actually more in control of your mind & body during hypnosis than at any other time because your attention is focused. Hypnocoaching is very different from stage hypnosis, so you will not be asked to do anything that is foolish or useless.

I’m Afraid I Can’t be Hypnotized

Anyone with average intelligence who can follow simple instructions can be hypnotized if they choose to do so. Hypnosis cannot be done against a person’s will.

What If I Can’t Come Out of Hypnosis?

It is impossible to get “stuck” in hypnosis. You are awake, aware, and in control the whole time.

empowerment by awakening to you.
